Is Erie a safe city to visit and stay overnight? I've read some opposing views...thanks!

We felt safe in Erie but because of covid-19 most interest things were shutdown or on a limited schedule. We ended up leaving early. Do not stay at the Best Western. Hope this helps.

I wasn't sure if they would be closed on Good Friday so I called the zoo and I got a recording the first said they were closed Thanksgiving Day and and Black Friday then it said they're closed on Thanksgiving and open on Black Friday so I'm not sure what to tell you 10 to 5 were the hours maybe you should call Friday morning and see if they're open
