“Kansas State’s Achor Achor has been dismissed from the team,” Field of 68′s Jeff Goodman reported. “This sounds like it was more of a ‘conduct detrimental to the team’ type of thing that ultimately had Jerome Tang deciding to part ways with Achor Achor.”

For the second season in a row, Jerome Tang has had a player removed from the team due to disciplinary actions. Samford transfer Achor Achor, who was averaging over seven minutes per game, was dismissed on Wednesday.

MANHATTAN, Kan. - Senior wing Achor Achor has left the Kansas State men’s basketball team for personal reasons, head coach Jerome Tang announced on Wednesday afternoon.

The Kansas State Wildcats released senior forward Achor Achor, per college analyst Jeff Goodman. He averaged 7.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 0.7 assists this season. Achor was reportedly released due to “detrimental behavior” that stimulated coach Jerome Tang to part from the forward.
