Michigan committed 17 turnovers against Arkansas. Various Wolverines stepped out of bounds along the baseline; lost their dribble; and attempted an assist when there wasn’t one to be had. Some are the cost of doing business in a read-and-react scheme; far too many are just plain sloppy.

Boogie Fland scored 20 points as Arkansas stormed back from a 15-point deficit, withstood a late comeback attempt and hung on for an 89-87 victory over No. 14 Michigan in the Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden.

The Razorbacks and Wolverines traded blows, with Arkansas leading by as many as 18 points in the second half after trailing by as many as 15 in the first. Michigan’s Danny Wolf was finding remarkable passes while Jonas Aidoo was protecting the Razorbacks’ rim at a high level.
