Bamako – A workers’ strike at B2Gold’s flagship mine in southwest Mali has reduced mining operations to just 25% of its capacity, two employees at the mine told Reuters on Tuesday.

BTG continues to expect 2024 annual gold production guidance for the Fekola mine to be at the lower end of the 420,000-450,000 ounces despite a labor strike.

B2Gold (NYSE:BTG) -4.1% in early trading Monday after saying it still expects production at the Fekola gold operation in Mali will come in toward the lower end of its annual production guidance of 420K-450K oz of gold in FY 2024 despite a seven-day strike that began November 29.
