Norwegian Cruise Line is working to replace several voyages after canceling winter cruises for 2025 and 2026. The reason for the cancelation on Norwegian Breakaway, Bliss and Encore was “a result of a fleet redeployment,” a spokesperson for Norwegian Cruise Line told MassLive.

The new schedules feature a wider variety of Caribbean itineraries and shorter cruise lengths, with Norwegian Star and Norwegian Dawn offering a completely new lineup of Caribbean cruises from Tampa, Florida. The new itineraries replaced Norwegian Jewel’s sailings from Tampa that were canceled as the ship was redeployed to Miami.

Norwegian Cruise Line is the fourth largest cruise line in the world and they have eight more cruise ships either under construction or on order.

Norwegian Cruise Line has completely cancelled 35 sailings across 4 ships, including highly sought-after repositioning cruises.

Norwegian Cruise Line has announced additional changes to its deployment plans for the 2025-26 season, with an additional 35 cruises onboard four ships being cancelled. According to a statement sent to travel advisors on Friday afternoon,

The cancellations will affect voyages on the Norwegian Breakaway, Norwegian Bliss, and Norwegian Encore ships.
