PITTSBURGH — The road to another championship for the City of Pittsburgh starts this week. The Pitt women’s volleyball team is the number one overall seed in the NCAA tournament for the first time in school history. Volleyball fans from all around are expected to fill the stands at the Petersen Events Center, and bring some big bucks to the area

Pitt Panthers volleyball earned a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament and will host through to the Final Four (as long as they win), but the location for where they'll play is changing. The Panthers normally hosts the first two rounds at the Petersen Events Center and then plays both the Third Round (Sweet 16) and Quarterfinals (Elite Eight) matches at Fitzgerald Field House.

Pitt's women's volleyball team has earned the overall No. 1 seed in the upcoming NCAA tournament. Pitt has been a No. 1 seed in the tournament the past three years, making it to the Final Four each time.
