CHANDIGARH: Punjab Police arrested two persons when they were waiting for another operative to handover the weapon consignment of eight sophisticated pistols smuggled from Pakistan. Director General of Police,

“The Punjab Police have arrested two people after eight sophisticated pistols smuggled into the country from Pakistan were found in their possession,” a top officer said on Saturday (November 30, 2024.) “They were held from Nurpur Padhri in Amritsar,” Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav said.

Chandigarh: Punjab police on Saturday claimed to have nabbed two persons from Amritsar and recovered eight sophisticated pistols from them. Eight sophisticated weapons, comprising four Glock pistols (made in Austria), two Turkiye 9mm pistols and two X-Shot Zigana pistols, along with 10 rounds were recovered.
