The United States Postal Service (USPS), has released its 2024 Post-Election Analysis Report, and the full amount of ballots it processed during the 2024 Election. As voting by mail becomes more widely adopted,

But USPS, on average, took only one day to deliver ballots from voters to election officials. That’s faster than the 1.6 days USPS spent, on average, on that leg of ballot delivery in the 2020 general election, or the nearly two-day average it took in the 2022 midterm elections.

Almost 99.9% of general election mail ballots were delivered to election officials within a week and 97.7% of them were delivered within three days, postal officials said.
