The man who told police he had shot an intruder Sunday also said the man came into his condo through the second-floor balcony, according to 911 calls.
911 calls point to dangerous commotion before homeowner shot, killed man in West Chester
The man the homeowner shot has been identified as 22-year-old Isaiah Jordan Erickson of Colerain Township. Erickson died at a nearby hospital. Both the homeowner and a woman who lives in a neighboring building said they heard multiple rounds of gunfire — possibly from a third-floor balcony — before Erickson was shot.
Suspected intruder fatally shot in West Chester identified
WEST CHESTER, Ohio (WKRC) - Police reported a man was shot in West Chester after a homeowner accused them of intruding. West Chester police said that around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday morning a homeowner claimed to have heard noises on his balcony and when he went to investigated, found an intruder in his home.
