Ukraine's air force said it recorded 110 Russian attack drones launched into the country overnight into Monday morning. Massed Russian drone barrages have become a nightly occurrence in recent months as winter approaches and Moscow targets Ukraine's energy grid -- as it did in the two previous winters of its full-scale invasion of the country.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a Sunday social media post that a week of "Russian aerial terror" saw Moscow launch around 500 bombs, 660 drones and 120 missiles into Ukraine. Russia's long-range bombardments of Ukraine have been intensifying in recent weeks,

The Ukrainian military said Russia launched a barrage of 110 drones overnight as one person was killed after a block of flats was hit in Ternopil.
