Penei Sewell could start at left tackle Thursday for the Detroit Lions against the Green Bay Packers if Taylor Decker can't play.

Although the Packers (9-3) have put themselves in good shape to earn a playoff berth by winning three straight and seven of their last eight, they remain two games behind the Lions (11-1) and a half-game behind Minnesota (9-2) in the NFC North. They also already lost at home to both teams.

Taylor Decker missed his second game in four weeks on Thanksgiving, and the Detroit Lions might be without the left tackle again. Detroit hosts the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football in a meaty NFC North prime-time matchup.
