An emotional ceremony for Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau is expected prior to Tuesday's rematch between the Blue Jackets and Flames in Calgary.

A ceremonial puck drop and video montage will air before the game to honour the former Flame’s legacy, who spent nine seasons with the team. The tribute marks the first home game between the Flames and the Blue Jackets since the Gaudreau brothers were killed by a suspected drunk driver in New Jersey in August.

Before the Flames and Blue Jackets face one another, the Flames had a classy gesture toward Guy Gaudreau, the late Johnny Gaudreau's father.

Jane Gaudreau, mother of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau, announced last week that she and her husband Guy Gaudreau will be in Calgary tomorrow night when the Calgary Flames welcome the Columbus Blue Jackets at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

The bench was made from the hockey sticks and pucks left in tribute to Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau on the steps of the Saddledome. It was fitting, then, that the first two people to sit on the new bench at Flames Community Arenas were Johnny Gaudreau’s two young children,
