Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid will not return against the Indiana Pacers after taking a hit to the face.

The 76ers’ center was hit in the face while trying to make defensive play 12 seconds before the halftime intermission. Embiid fell to court and remained there for 5.5 seconds before the Sixers called a timeout. The 7-foot-2, 280-pound center (impact to right side of face) will not return to the game.
