Kevin Durant suffered a left ankle sprain when stepping on someone’s foot driving to the basket in transition in the second quarter. Scoring 13 points with 10 coming in the second, Durant checked out the game with 3:51 remaining in the first half and didn’t return in the second half.

Kevin Durant sprained his left ankle and hit the floor during a drive against the San Antonio Spurs and will be evaluated to determine the extent of the injury, Phoenix Suns coach Mike Budenholzer announced.

Durant drew a foul on the play and remained in the game for 39 more seconds before he was substituted out. He did not return for the remainder of the game, finishing with 13 points (on 5-of-8 shooting), four rebounds and two assists in 16 minutes.
