The New Orleans Police Department provided more details about several shootings that happened over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. NOPD officials say they are investigating nine separate shootings that left four dead and 10 injured.

On Sunday, NOPD investigated an additional four shootings. The first shooting was in the 700 block of Canal Street just before 2:30 a.m. Four people were injured in the shooting and taken to an area hospital for treatment.
