The New York Mets are locked in on the pursuit of New York Yankees superstar Juan Soto. The New York Yankees are in danger of losing the star, and one former Mets pitcher thinks Aaron Judge is to blame.

According to NJ Advance Media’s Bob Klapisch, via a person with knowledge, the Yankees were “encouraged” by their meeting on Nov. 18, though owner Hal Steinbrenner told reporters days later that he had “no idea” where the Yankees stand.

Juan Soto is a free agent following his sensational one-year stint with the New York Yankees, and Aaron Judge has been told to step up if the franchise are to retain the outfielder
