An Oak Park police officer was fatally wounded Friday morning in a shooting in the near west suburb, officials said. According to an Oak Park Police Department spokesperson, Detective Allan Reddins was killed in the line of duty when responding to a call involving a person armed with a gun who was seen leaving a bank in the 1000 block of Lake Street.
