Latest CFP Rankings released after Ohio State's loss to Michigan. How far did Buckeyes fall?
With OSU’s loss, there was a jumbling near the top. Oregon remained No.1 followed by Texas (2), Penn State (3), Notre Dame (4), and Georgia (5) ahead of the Scarlet and Gray. Rounding out the top ten behind OSU was Tennessee (7), (8) SMU (8), Indiana (9), and Boise State (10).
Ohio State only falling to the sixth spot of the latest CFP rankings after Michigan loss confused fans
Ohio State tumbled down the fifth College Football Playoff rankings of 2024, but some fans didn’t think it was as long enough a fall as deserved. The Buckeyes’ Saturday loss to archrival Michigan sent the program from second to sixth in the rankings behind schools like Oregon, Texas, Penn State, Notre Dame and Georgia.
