Legoland Florida theme park is discontinuing its current water-skiing show, which has significant roots in the state’s tourism history. The final performance of “Brickbeard’s Watersport Stunt Show” will be Dec.

A spokesperson for LEGOLAND Florida said it was not an easy decision to make to discontinue the theme park’s water stunt show, which was viewed as an homage to the park’s predecessor, Cypress Gardens.

Legoland says that after a final performance on Dec. 30th, the storied water ski show that started at Cypress Gardens in 1947 is ending. In those days, it was the height of entertainment. People came from all over to see it and be a part of it in Polk County.
