Watch out for fog on your commute this morning. The fog will be very thick in some spots in the Foothills this morning as Environment Canada issued the advisory this morning. They say dense fog patches formed overnight with travel expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility with areas of near-zero visibility expected.

The NWS Raleigh NC issued a weather alert at 6:12 a.m. on Tuesday, warning residents of dense fog until 10:15 a.m. The alert is for Person, Granville, Vance, Warren, Halifax, Forsyth, Guilford, Alamance,

A dense fog advisory has been issued throughout the Delaware Valley until 9 a.m. with visibility at ¼ a mile or less. And on top of the fog, the roads are pretty slick thanks to precipitation in the air. Fog will give way to clouds later this morning with temperatures reaching a high of 57 degrees.

A dense fog advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 4:02 a.m. in effect until 9 a.m. for Northern Centre, Southern Centre and Southern Clinton.

A dense fog advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Monday at 10:31 p.m. in effect until Tuesday at 7 a.m. for Salem, Gloucester, Camden, Burlington, Ocean, Cumberland, Atlantic and Cape May counties.

While steady rain isn't likely on Tuesday, we can't rule out a sprinkle or shower throughout the afternoon. Wednesday however, is shaping up to be a washout.
