The Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office is holding a press conference to update the public on the Ryan Borgwardt case after he was taken into custody, months after he allegedly faked his death and fled the country.

According to online jail records, there is a 45-year-old Ryan Borgwardt listed as in custody at the Green Lake County Jail as of Tuesday. It comes after investigators revealed last month the missing kayaker who was presumed dead was very much alive.
