North Carolina hiring Bill Belichick, age 72, will make everyone at USC wonder if Pete Carroll, currently 73, can put on the headset one more time. It isn't likely that Carroll would be USC's next hire if Lincoln Riley gets fired, but until Pete completely rules out the possibility, it shouldn't be entirely discounted.
