Thanksgiving is almost here, and if you need to run out to grab a last-minute ingredient for your gathering, you'll have some options.

A new Publix store in Wellington features a few amenities that may have visitors sticking around long after filling up their shopping carts.

All Publix locations are also closed on Thanksgiving Day. The supermarket chain tweeted its holiday closure before the 2024 holiday, writing, “We wish you a bountiful Thanksgiving. Our stores are closed tomorrow, November 28, so our associates can enjoy time with their loved ones. We will resume regular hours Friday, November 29.”

Forgot the cranberry sauce? Need to make a last-minute grocery run? You might not be out of luck just yet. Most stores in the U.S. are closed on Thanksgiving Day to give employees the day off to be with family and friends on what could arguably be the most American holiday of the year.
